You deserve to build a life that supports all your needs, including making more money. Because only good things happen when women make more money.
Healing from trauma is not just about learning to cope. It expands your capacity for more love, joy, and connection.
Your best is what you can do without harming your mental and physical health–not what you can accomplish when you disregard it.
Your needs do matter (and I’m here to remind you of this!).
Exhibit A: when I was in elementary school, I discovered that we had a boys’ basketball team but no girls’ basketball team. Did I have any interest in basketball (and did I know what the word “feminist” meant)? No. But did I start a petition so that the girls could have a team? Absolutely. It just didn’t feel right that the boys got something we didn’t.
This is my long way of saying I have always wanted to help women, support women, and work with women.
Like so many of us women, I learned from an early age that love, safety, and approval had to be earned. I also grew up in extreme poverty and neglect, which wreaked havoc on my nervous system and wired my brain to believe I could never be “enough.” Nevertheless, I did everything I could to be the best student and daughter–and later, the best employee and business owner. I spent years proving myself through various achievements, only to end up anxious, exhausted, and disconnected from myself and my values.
It was only through my own healing journey (which involved lots of therapy!) that I was able to process my past, unlearn the patterns that kept me stuck in perfectionism and overworking, and stop equating performance with enoughness.

With a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, I am trained in several theories and modalities for trauma and C-PTSD treatment, though I take an eclectic prescriptive approach to tailor my work to the needs of each client. To this day, I pursue ongoing education to expand my expertise and keep my skills up to date with the latest research.

Here are some of the most common questions potential clients have. See if the answer is here but, if not, feel free to reach out!
Yes! While I can provide therapy to Tennessee residents only, I can and do work with coaching clients across the country. We cover a lot of similar territory, from healing trauma and inner child work to setting better boundaries and building a life and business that actually supports you.
For the most part, my services are completely virtual, allowing you to work through any emotions from the safety and convenience of your own home. There are a few exceptions, however: I do offer the option for an in-person therapy intensive to Tennessee residents. And while most of the healing work in The Freedom Formula is done virtually, there are a few aspects of the program, like my coaching intensives, that happen in person.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also utilize client-centered therapy, narrative therapy, attachment theory, psychodynamic theory, and solution-focused techniques to create highly unique and personalized care for you.
